  With a cat.... Jaguar XJ R Saw one today, and it looked awesome. I think I found my next car.

I like Jag's a lot, just I can't get past the old person image. A Mercedes is certianly a better built and designed car, but Jag's have their charm.
Also Jag parts are crazy expensive, you will be paying $300 a pop for brake rotors on an R.

That seems kind of cheap. Or all XJR's don't come with the Brembo brake option...thats the one you have to watch for.

I'm more partial to the XKR. Unless I win the lottery, I don't think I could afford to own one of those. Even if the car was free . . ..

Don't you think these new cars seem a little "thick?" I mean the larger integrated body/bumper look makes the cars look a little chunky. The old ones looked a little sleeker.

The new ones look like oversize ricers with too many geegaws. (BTW - how do you get images to load fullsize in the body of the post?)

The lower grill area looks cheap. I think the proportionality of the center scoop is too small.
I am sure Jeremy Clarkson would defend your decision.

IMHO Jags dont look fat. They look fairly leaned out.
They have a very good looking profile.
