Carolyn Kennedy out
 

So Kennedy is out of the race. Since she announced, I have maintained she wouldn't get it, but didn't think it would be because it is rumored she is banging A. Sulzburger, had nanny and tax trouble.

She withdrew because she wasn't going to get it.

Cannot have a Kennedy losing...........now can we?

She never was going to get it as I had said all along, but now, her marriage and other personal issues are under scrutiny. Supposedly because the Gov's office leaked a memo day before yesterday after they met, that outlined his concerns about a tax issue and Sulzburger. She dropped Schlossberg from her name a while back, before the election, so there has been talk of her getting a divorce for a some time. I think if I would have been handling her PR, I would have waited until the seat was filled, and said "Aw Shucks, I didn't get it. Maybe next time." Now she's got a full time job defending herself. Which she may not do, and turn into a recluse.

I find it interesting, whether you're blue, red or inbetwist...somehow NO ONE REMEMBERS that last pre-candidate's slipup on the tax/nanny/spouse-beating department couldn't pass the "un-palatable" stage of vetting...

Everyone is stirred up and giddy that the next generational DNA-holder of the previous champion is going to be able to sweep the electorate off their feet and no one notices the toiletpaper being dragged around on the shoe and the piece of food still lodged between the eye-tooth and incisor...

Why not just stick her up on the podium and start throwing tomatoes the day she was first announced? That way, IF she was clean, then everyone would HAVE TO SAY "I'm sorry..." and she'd be all the better...

Now, this just makes her look like all the other "coulda'-shoulda-dangits" out there...and some of those were pretty silly to begin with...

Out of all the Kennedys in the public eye...(unless I'm missing something) she seemed to have it together...

Now, she's tainted and I don't forsee any cleansing action, on anyone's part, that will be able to fix this...

You just can't get good, cheap, non-taxable help anymore these days... :mad:

Maybe she didn't get it because she can't put two sentences together coherently. :rolleyes:

Yep....too much of that crap going around. UBS has prolly closed her numbered swiss account and sending a ten figure check back to her.

Quoting "you know" 1,000,000,000 times the book comes to the conclusion that the use of the phrase more than four times in a paragraph constitutes a state of"Unintellect" similar to "Parkinsons Disease"

Unintellect is used to describe a condition of stupidity,dumbness,A state of mental retardation.

If there was any hint that she was qualified, then fine, but there wasn't and hopefully this will put an end to the Kennedy Dynasty in American Politics.
I was born after JFK and have grown up with Kennedy this and that in the news ad nauseam.
It's that same attitude of inevitable entitlement that HRC had.
