Thinking about a 2001 BMW 330xi
I'm thinking about replacing my W202 with a BMW 3 series, and one car that has caught my interest is a 2001 BMW 330xi. Manual transmission. All wheel drive. 85,000 miles.
Now I have an indy that specializes in both MB and BMW, so any deal that I make will be subject to his blessing to verify the mechanical condition of a particular car. What I'd like to know from this bunch is what you've heard about these cars - good and bad. Opinions are definitely appreciated. Thanks!

I've always liked the XI's. I don't know anything about them except that if I was in the market for a BMW, aside from a Diesel, that would be the one.

It had never even occurred to me that there might be such a thing as a 3 series BMW with awd when I went and bought the new Subaru Outback last year..
If there is, does anyone know how reliable the awd system is?
