Bought a receiver hitch cargo carrier for my Fuso camper last weekend. Drove the truck to school Tuesday and since the roads were slick I didn't want it sticking out that extra couple of feet, so I took it off and leaned it up against the side of my house. As I was taking out the recycling this morning I noticed it was gone. Jeezuz it pisses me off. I'm in a rancid mood.

Go to the closest steel recycler and buy it back for about $5.00. That has been going on here all summer people were steeling alluminum 911 signs, trailer hitches, siding and catalytic converters.

I'd make sure I filed a police report FIRST, then go and check to see if you're lucky enough the f'ing crackheads sold it to a re-cycler, then if they did, let the re-cycler know he's in receipt of stolen property, show them the copy of your report, get your stuff back with an "I sorry, didn't know..." Otherwise, report the re-cycler to the cops and let them, probably, uncover more than just your little item...problem is, they may be taking in more than just a few knick-knacks from the cracks... (Sorry, couldn't resist!)

Hopefully, you had it marked, discreetly, so you can ID it properly...
