Welfare, why are you paying for someone elses kids ?

Because you eat at Burger King.... Thats why.

The only reply is that this is not worthy of a reply. Proper forethought would have people understanding this has little if nothing to do with welfare.

I concur that no reply is necessary. As such, please disregard this unnecessary reply. Furthermore, it is not necessary to reply to my non-response.

As a matter of fact, just forget that I even posted on this non-thread.

While the original post is a little sketchy, we as a nation really need to have a discussion on how the average taxpayer is being crucified by huge corporations that do not provide health care insurance to their workers, meaning that you and I pay for their health care through our property taxes. A recent study done by my county showed that property tax rates could be lowered by 40% if we either nationalized health care, or used the Massachusetts model which requires all employers to provide health insurance.

Burger King especially nauseates me, as they seem to be fully staffed by illegal aliens. As a corporation, they get a massive cost break on the wages of these slaves, and they get to pawn them off on us when they get sick down at the local emergency room. When all the right wingers decry "socialism", perhaps they should start looking how the huge corporations have been so successful at socializing their business costs onto the backs of us taxpayers.

But I just love the $0.99 Whopper Jr...I couldn't bear to pay anymore for it.

I love wearing my leather and fur, driving a gas leaking, fume belching gas hog while eating my cheap burgers and throwing the trash out the window while doing 100 mph in a residential area with kids playing in the streets.

How about if we used a simple model. No pay, no play. We won't have to fund anyone's health care.

Well, gee, that would be nice. But just because you deduct 40% here doesn't mean it won't come out somewhere else, right? If as an employer it costs me more, I have 2 options. Eat the cost or pass it down to you. Which would I do? Hard choice, isn't it? I'll go for "pass it on" to the consumer.

Stupidity at work. If we enforced the rules and fine the hell out of the corp or anyone hiring an illegal, with the 2nd time meaning jail time for the execs, guess what? They might just stop hiring illegals. Why do I follow the law? Because there are consequences. In the case of illegals, there are no consequences. If you try make companies responsible, you are a racist basturd. Who will have the stones to do what must be done?

Well, you are stupid therefore a smart guy will take advantage of you. Again, if you took the hardline of "No pay, no play", they can flock outside the ER all day long. But no, we had to be stupid and say "Well, if you can't pay, we will pay for you." Sorry, I don't promote stupidity.

I could say something concerning the sexual connotations about your post, but I'll be a good boy!

Irony-I posted it because I thought you were just trying to quote the song but only tone down the language a bit
