Same here in the NY/NJ area. If you drove it to even 1/2 it's potential, chances are you'd loose your license or crash it. Waste of money IMO.

Yeah, for G note I play with a nice Ferrari for a day, that was fun now back to work. $200k saved.

Hmmm $3,000 to go 220mph. Makes sense to me. To drive it all day on the road no way. Take it to a track now thats worth $3,000.

My father suprised me once using the exotic rental program. We were in San Diego and his business stuff was taking longer than it was supposed to. I tagged along with him to avoid shopping with my mother and sister. He realized I was getting bored, so he decided to rent me a car so I can do my own thing.

I didn't know what I was renting until we pulled up to the agency. I got to choose either a red 360 Spyder or a yellow Gallardo. I chose the Ferrari, and had it for the next 24 hours. Other than 2 instances of people yelling profanities at me at stop lights, it was amazing.

In retrospect, he could have just given me the cash he spent to do it, and I would have been fine.

Yeah but its going to take a very, very long time to buy one with this economy. I can probably afford to think about renting one for the day in a couple of years.
