If Bill Gates Saw a $100 Bill on the Ground would it be worth his time to pick it up?

Would he?

I think this is on snopes..

My dad would pick up a penny... why the hell wouldn't he.

I bet Bill Gates would pick up a penny also. Its called Greed, why let someone else have free money!

Calculate his annual income, break it down to income-per-second, calculate the number of seconds necessary to pick up the $100 bill and you'll have the answer.

It's funny about money,,, excuse the rhyme. I was cleaning up a work area of the shop and saw about 50 cents in pennies lying on the floor, and by their condition, they had been there for awhile, and the worker obviously knew they were there. I picked up every one, cleaned them, and put them on the workers tool box. I just look at the desecration of our coins and money as a further erosion of our society and lifestyle. Don't get on me as to the value of our coins, it is the concept I am talking about.:(

Bill Gates would have somebody pick it up for him.

He would probably pick it up...but only because he just ran out of toilet paper.

Yup. I save every penny and put it back into circulation whenever possible if I'm buying something. It's stupid to waste them or not want them. I've always found it irritating when a cashier asks me if I want my pennies (as change). Of course I do, you c*nt! Or so I want to say. :P

I'm sure Bill Gates would pick up the bill. He's smart enough to do so and generous enough to probably give it to someone in need. Just look at his charities.

As a young teen I would spend weekends with friends in Atlantic City. We would crawl under the boardwalk and poke a dollar bill up between the boards. When somebody bent over we would pull it back at the last second.

I know a guy who owns a gift shop. He JB Welded coins to the floor just to watch people attempt to pick them up.

of course he would pick it up, he and his wife run one of if not the largest charitable orginizations in the world. $100 bucks is good for a lot of immunizations or whatever else he directs it to, my guess is he thinks of money now in terms of what good it can do, god bless the old and guilt ridden billionairs

I've done the same with Black Max glue on my work bench...it's kinda funny actually, but I'm slightly sadistic in nature:P

He would pick it up, and save it for the next years worth of hair cuts, or go on a spending spree on socks and Pennies or Sears...

Hatterasguy 02-23-2009 09:34 PM

Bill Gates understands the value of a dollar, he would pick it up regardless of the denomination.
