I wish my body was twenty and my mind was fifty. That would be the best. Unfortunately, life just doesn't work that way. About the time you really figure it all out and know how it SHOULD be done, it's all over . . . .

That's true. I remember being 20 and thinking that I knew it all. Then I turned 30, thinking that I really knew it all, and reflected upon what a dumbass I was at 20. Turned 40, then a self-proclaimed genius, and marveled at what a dope I was at 30. At 50, I'm sure I'll do the same. Hopefully by the time I hit 60, I will have lost most of my remaining marbles and will just drool on my Mister Rodger's sweater without rue, reflection or regret.

Happy Birthday! Good luck with the wisdom teeth. I saw an oral surgeon a couple weeks ago and he wants to pull 3 of mine out. I'm debating on weather or not I should do it. It sounds like an absolutley miserable experience to go through.

Today (February 24th) is my moms birthday too. I think she turned 54. Also, this marks the day my aunt died (dads brothers wife). She died around 8:00 this evening. Her birthday was the 22nd- she had just turned 56. Sorry for the gloomy news on your b-day thread. Sounds like with you being ill, it was not so nice for you either. My cousin, whose mom just died had her wisdom teeth cut out last week and my adopted sister had hers out the other day. I am 32 and still have all of mine and my dentist says I should never have any trouble with them.

Hope you had a nice birthday, despite the illness.

well I woke up at 1am with a terrible pain in my mouth, my throat drier than british comedy, my nose running like crazy and my head pounding in pain. Its been like that since this morning and I need to go to work and get meds then tell them I cannot come in. Plus I skipped class since I cannot go to class in this much pain.

I think my wisdom teeth are coming in, it would only make sense. Also top if off with my super allergies its been splendid this past week.

I think today I will spend in my bed hopped up on drugs. This pain is unbearable. I'll have to call my health insurance provider and find out what dentist I can go to and see if my step dad can give me like a half of one of his pain killers for his knee. I don't want full strength...
