Were it me I would have highlighted the woman's physical attributes ala Bill Daniels or James Wong Howe,but that's just me,a frustrated Cineaste....

Oh and don't take no S**t over the Z it is cool! Which one is it a 240? I couldn't see the number...

Is the "big festival" Sundance?

Thanks guys. It's a 280 with a 240 hood. I also made custon split rear bumpers from a 240. The festival he speaks of is called IDIDX and it come to Lafayette in April. We won't be ready for this year but we will for 2010.

I'm sitting here editing video right now so I'm already in the right frame of mind...

What you have here is well done. I'll give you some honest feedback that's not intended to insult.

First off, is it supposed to be funny/campy?

Couple notes:

In the trailer, lose the reaction shot when he says "...pay you 1.5 million dollars". Go straight to "He is given 7 days". The reaction shot just looks slightly akward to me. If you want to keep in in there, maybe cut back to you right after he says "million", change the sound of his voice to the phone and then do the reaction to tighten up the scene slightly to match the pace of the trailer.

Get a better, more agressive sound bite of the car and sync the sound of the car scenes more appropriately. Being primarily a sound guy, this is a big pet peeve for me.

Neither of these is important however, if you're trying to make it funny.

Looks like you have a lot of fun doing this. I wish I could do more of this stuff and less boring corporate video. But hey, it's a living!

Thanks for the input Evan. I appreciate it. It is a sort of tongue-in-cheek movie meant to ba at least a little cheesy and stereotypical. We are having a blast filming and that is priority one. I probably won't change the parts in the trailer but the points are good ones and noted for next time.

Where is Duson, LA? I've worked in New Orleans, Lafayette and Morgan City, but I've never heard of it.
