LoL I'm not one unfortunately, but I'd like to be.

I'm thinking of investing in a Uniden bearcat UHF/VHF Scanner with triple trunking scan.
Local police are on a trunked 800Mhz service up here(sasktel fleetnet) I love listening to the police radios.

I work with police at my job, I Install emergency equipment on the cars and trucks. I build police cars Charger mostly. I ALWAYS have the radio on when I'm working on them..always interesting.

I know that a local repeater is designated VE5 all the call signs around here begin with VE5.

Callsigns are regional.

Well... untill they allowed 'vanity' callsigns. Best FCC money can buy.



Most agencys are going to the APCO-25 system. Sso, don't waste much money on a trunking receiver.

For a minute there, I thought maybe you had moved to North Carolina, LOL.

First licensed as WN8KBL, 1963 (In Flint).

I prefer not to post my current callsign on here. Too many crazy lib'ruls, .... ..
