http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQEAydTlVXE Some earmarks can be good, but I have no problem with weeding a bunch out. Bambi Hussein. Hmmph. The guy's got more real balls that the dubbers ever dreamed of having. |

So who decides which ones are good? Then why didn't he veto the thing? I mean, he did campaign on "no earmarks". So on principle, he should do just that. Assuming he has real balls that dubbers didn't have. Besides, according to paragraph 1 written by you, dubbers is not responsible since it was Congress that handed him the bill to sign, right? |

Here's what 1/2 of Hussein oBambi's trillion looks like:
What does one TRILLION dollars look like?
All this talk about "stimulus packages" and "bailouts"... A billion dollars... A hundred billion dollars... Eight hundred billion dollars... One TRILLION dollars... What does that look like? I mean, these various numbers are tossed around like so many doggie treats, so I thought I'd take Google Sketchup out for a test drive and try to get a sense of what exactly a trillion dollars looks like. We'll start with a $100 dollar bill. Currently the largest U.S. denomination in general circulation. Most everyone has seen them, slighty fewer have owned them. Guaranteed to make friends wherever they go. http://www.pagetutor.com/trillion/bill.jpg A packet of one hundred $100 bills is less than 1/2" thick and contains $10,000. Fits in your pocket easily and is more than enough for week or two of shamefully decadent fun. http://www.pagetutor.com/trillion/packet.jpg Believe it or not, this next little pile is $1 million dollars (100 packets of $10,000). You could stuff that into a grocery bag and walk around with it. http://www.pagetutor.com/trillion/pile.jpg While a measly $1 million looked a little unimpressive, $100 million is a little more respectable. It fits neatly on a standard pallet... http://www.pagetutor.com/trillion/pallet.jpg And $1 BILLION dollars... now we're really getting somewhere... http://www.pagetutor.com/trillion/pallet_x_10.jpg Next we'll look at ONE TRILLION dollars. This is that number we've been hearing so much about. What is a trillion dollars? Well, it's a million million. It's a thousand billion. It's a one followed by 12 zeros. You ready for this? It's pretty surprising. Go ahead... Scroll down... Ladies and gentlemen... I give you $1 trillion dollars... http://www.pagetutor.com/trillion/pallet_x_10000.jpg <That's Hussein Bambi over to the left of the one trillion Bambi dollars...... (And notice those pallets are double stacked.) So the next time you hear someone toss around the phrase "trillion dollars"... that's what they're talking about. |

Btw, whatelse can you come up with besides Libs and Nazis to describe a deviation from your point of view? |
its not that the model is wrong its that companies have gotten more and more greedy. Dont get me wrong somethings could be changed in our goverment like spending money that we dont have, but really look at it. Back in the day most companies had more money in capitol than they had in actual money. Why is this, greed. I dont think things have to cost so much and I dont think that they have to earn so much.
i just happen to work for target and there is this one kid that always whines about the 10 cent raises and how they are just pathetic. While i do agree with him why is it that corprate doesn't give out bigger raises, well the answer to that is because if we got paid more they would get a smaller raise. see the pattern, greed. they dont want to give us money because they loose it. The only way that we are going to fix the issue is if America just deels with the fact that greed has a lot to do with this and they just stop with the greed. Oh, and heres a idea for car manufactures cars that are made to order. Think of it, it takes like 1 day to build a car. That car can be delivered within the week and then there is no leftover stock at the end of the year. They could save so much money this way and I feel they could pass the savings onto the customer. Greed, Greed, Greed, thats all I have to say. (Stepping off my Soapbox now) |

You have absolutly no evidence of anyting that points to the reality of anything in your chosen religion. You believe there is a man in the clouds that controls everyting about the entire universe. And he wrote a book for you to follow. And Satan is waiting for you to sin so you can burn with him in the center of the earth. :eek:And you think people you consider liberals have a mental disorder ?? |

Need we remind you that the horrid amounts of spending that our last puppet and chief committed is partly what got us in this mess..... And I guess you salivated durning Bobby Jendil little lie infested speech. Or have you missed the fact that he was lying out his ass in that speech when he talked about " earmarks " and government pork spending. |
