While perusing some of the recent posts, I've noticed that some users have statistics displaying the number of accumulated infractions just underneath the post count.

Is this new, or have I not been paying attention? And why would someone want that info displayed unless it's some sort of badge of honor, like gangstas with a rap sheet?

Yes, it is new.

Yes, you haven't been paying attention.

There was an announcement about it for the entire month of February.

Kindly read the OD forum rules in the sticky at the top of the OD forum. It explains all.

Additionally, the reasons to display the infraction counts are to avoid the incessant claims of bias on the part of the moderators. All members can see the infractions given to all other members. In the past, a member could only know his/her own infraction situation and have no clue as to the status of others.

G, when you read it, see if you can explain it to me--I gots a warning that never expires, no (current) infractions and no permanent infractions

If you wish to be properly insulted, there are other MB forums that excell in it, this is the realm of amatuer insulters and flamers, however there are a few here who have been properly trained elsewhere.

Hijack (nobody but Randy would read a dedicated thread): my little brother took a 265# feral pig near Marion, SC Saturday with his .357. They were having a control hunt and oyster roast afterwards. That's pretty big for a true feral (small for the Russian Boars). How's your hog situation doing?

C'mon man, I was just kidding!!!!! I just thought it was funny (at my own expense) to point out that out of all of my transgressions, a warning that would never expire (that has no link to the offense) is all that was under my sig. I never even asked Hatt to take it off--but thanks.
