92 300E w124 Hoses
My 92 300E has 112k miles on it and I've been the second owner for the past nine years. All of the coolant hoses except for the water pump hose are original. I'm planning to keep this car for a few more years thanks to the idiots in DC my savings have gone down the toilet.
Question: as a precaution before making a trip this spring/summer which hoses should I consider changing. They all look good but hoses usually start to deteriorate from the inside out. Tarheel75 |

The radiator hoses are real short and cheap. Replace the one from the thermostat to the radiator....and from the water pump/return from radiator. The heater hose in back is up to you....as are the other heater hoses. I think ours are still original and they seem to be fine.
You should have posted this in the "Tech" Section of the forum....
