There seems to be a growing opinion even amongst non-Churchill supporters, that whoever gets f**ked in this instance, it's not going to be Churchill. Former Governor Owen did not look too good on the stand yesterday.

He is an anti American POS, we should exhile him. I remember his ranting after 9/11, I have a long memory and won't forget.

I suspect folks have already done so. I also suspect he's to worthless to care. He has his groupies and his notoriety and that's all he needs. A severe discredit to the U of Colorado is this waste of oxygen. Almost makes me sympathize with those who regard the public funding of tertiary education as being akin to flushing money down the toilet.

I wasn't referring to his genetic heritage. I was referring to the group of people whom he supports in his ideological position. Whether he is pro or anti American depends on which groups point of view you take.

The trial isn't really about his point of view. The trial concerns the question of academic freedom and whether or not CU fired him because of his political views. It could end up being an important trial in academic freedom case law. From what I've seen in news clips and from reading that blog, it doesn't look like CU is doing a good job of defending itself. I haven't been to the courtroom but it's not too far away. I may pop in just to get a first person look at the drama.

While I agree that he should lose his position on the basis of academic misconduct, I cannot fault him for practicing his right to free speech. I totally disagree with him and everything he stands for, but he has right to voice his opinions just like I have a right to not listen to him. to go any other way is to invite the "fairness doctrine"

The idea that white mothers should snuff their babies for the good of the planet is as ridiculous as it is horrible. However, he should NOT be judged on these incendiary sayings, but on the basis that he FABRICATED his historical evidence (the small pox plague that he claimed the US Army deliberately gave the Mandin) and plagiarized other people's works including this graphic.
