So who is going to be at Joe's Pub this Thursday the 16th to watch my friend perform as Tammy Faye Starlite?

I can promise you a great time! I know a few people said they were interested. Here is the link for tickets if you have not gotten them already.

Tammy does not play a place like Joe's Pub that often so this is a great time to see her up close and personal

She told me that we could go back stage and meet her and the band after the show...

The show starts at 7pm so please be there early. I am also sure that they will be selling CDs so I recommend "Used Country Female". It is great! Come on out and show her that MB Shoppers are cool people!

I'ma gonna try. I've got a seminar in Boston until 3:30~4:00, and have reserved the guest suite at some friends place uptown. Been awhile since I've hung out down St. Marks way (moment of silent reflection for CBGB's). Looking forward to seeing her show.

I used to Love GBGB's I saw the Talking Heads, Blondie and The Ramones there! I missed the NY Dolls and Television though

Live music is the best!

Yep, one of the greatest. Saw T-Heads and Ramones there more than once. One of the highlights of my career was working there a couple times with the rock band I was part of. We had opening slots of 40 minutes including set up, ya know BIG time

Just had to check the gmtruckclub.com to see the post I knew I would find from jn1965. Guess I'll have to look out for some kindred truck fans as well.

As a guy in the music industry, I EXPECT the plug, and even get a little disappointed when it doesn't come.

I will have to check her out! Can you let me know when she will be playing? The website doesn't not have any upcoming shows for either group
