Yep, as I hoped... just some scare tactics from Symantec et.al. to sell more of their useless Mac anti-virus software.

From the article:
"Mac users at large, however, should not be alarmed by the incident, experts said. The program infects only computers whose users downloaded pirated versions of the Mac software iWork."

makes you wonder who created the virus since, it only affects computers with pirated iWork software.....hummmm.

As much as Apple may want to provide disincentives for pirating their software, I think they'd rather maintain their nearly flawless record of immunity from virus threats.
