Saab 9-3, anyone got one?

I won a raffle and one of the prizes I can choose is a Saab 9-3. Anybody got an opinion if this is a decent car?

Fred

Along with the 9-3, you'll also get a 1099. Is there a cash alternative?

You should just sell it.

well, its a gm product but you already know that? and gm's destruction of that once interesting brand?

they're kind of bland now, and built on some universal gm platform and some division's engine.

My cousin had one, not bad.

If you give it to your sister tell her she is going to have to pay the taxes. Or take the cash.

Not sure if the convertible is an option. I would cover my sisters taxes, basically it is like buying her a car at a big discount... She needs a good ride.

Actually I can get the Saab, a H2, a Mustang, a Chevy pickup or a Chrysler 300 as my choices. I blew off the h2 and pickup right away. I like the look of the 300 though. The mustang is not the high end stuff I am sure.

I'd get the Mustang if it had some decent options.

Ford is still going to be around to honor the warranty.

We had a pilot working for us a few years back. He had a convertible one. I only rode in it a few times. Seemed ok. He really liked it. I don’t recall him ever having any issues with it.
