Fantastic movie. Go see it in IMAX, don't bother torrenting this hot piece. Best since Kahn and maybe even better if the sequels pan out. The best part, you don't even have to be a fan really. Its a good stand alone action flick. I described it as Starship Troopers meets good acting. If your a fan you'll love all the bits and pieces they throw in without overwhelming or dwelling on past shows/movies. No troubles with tribbles but some good throwback.

If its as awesome as we all hope, and have been told, I will have to watch it a few times. There is a drive-in theater in Sacramento, maybe if there are any other Star Trek and Diesel people in the area we should make an event out of it. LOL

I've re-watched all the TV shows in the last 4 years since they pretty much killed off the franchise. (I admit it, I hang out with other Trek people) The idea of new Trek is pretty exciting.

The theater I saw it at was OK but no IMAX. I plan on seeing it at IMAX and the local drivein before it gets out of the theaters. This is not really a new Star Trek. Whoever did the casting did a fantastic job. All of the actors are young enough to keep this branch going another 20years easily.

Haven't been to the movies since last summer. I doubt i'll be able to find someone who would be willing to go and see this one with me. I'll probably end up buying it on DVD in 6 or 7 months when it comes out.
