I've always wondered about this. the "erotic services" section of craigslist has always been a joke to my friends and I. Once they called one of the "ladies" when they were drunk, but never had the guts to go through with it.

since the day I learned of the "erotic services" section on craigslist I thought it was violating some kind of law. I thought at least there had to be some cities that would reject it.

Reminds me of an old fashion saloon and whore house... now its gone.

Since "own" isn't legal in most of the world . . . it may be more akin to a long term fixed lease . . . in other words, right to occupancy and exclusive use, but no enforceable claim to the underlying title.
