The VIN would suggest that it's Ford-based, likely a Crown Vic was the donor vehicle. I think it's kinda cool, not that I'd ever spend that much money on any car, much less an oddball like that.

The vent on the dash looks Ford, as does the headlight switch. The suspension looks like it was put together by a high school shop class.

They should sell it to Jay Leno.

Its like a half baked kit car that never quite made it. The steering wheel looks like something off an XJS, and the dash has potiential but the junky plastic Ford vent kills it. The suspension is just strange looking.

I love the engine, thats the best part! The engine bay is very well done.

I thought the suspension might be from a vette.

The styling is interesting. I would be interested in more details.

I'm not in the market though, just interested.

A complicated, one of a kind car. What could go wrong?

That turn signal stalk looks like it came from a mid 90s GM product. That 3rd brake light is surely a GM product, looks like it was swiped out of a 1986 Fleetwood Brougham with a red interior.

That engine would look AMAZING in a real Packard. Kind of a retro/modern hot rod.

I have followed this car since the early 1990's when they were discussing reviving Packard in "Automobile" The engineering is way way way too complicated and the styling looks like they took every Packard cue they could think of and pasted it on the car. I was so disappointed when they unveiled the prototype. They could have gone to a much more classic look and really sold the heck out of them. The original asking price was north of $250000 which also did not help. If they had made a Caddy or MB class car and priced it at say $45000 they could have really had something. I guess the company, which has been limping along, saying they were going to produce this monster and making money repoping Packard spare parts for original cars has given up...
