My boredom peaked today

So I decided to take pictures of water droplets

I'm playing more with it since I did 200 shots and these are the only two keepers.. I'll play with the water colors, reflector type, off camera flash power, etc and get some cool stuff

oh, how I did it

easy, get your DSLR on a tripod, set to 1/250th, get a black pan for a 9" roller, speedlite, wireless transmitter or receiver( or ETTL cord)(I used wireless, cybersync setup), water, ziplock bags, a yard stick, some clamps, and patience to take countless pics to get.. two good ones.

You've become quite adept with that new camera, Joe. Nice job!

Did anyone watch the "Time Warp' show on water droplets? The drop will hit the water and when the drop hits it pops a smaller drop that floats on a cushion of air (the last pic) till it drops in and the process starts over till the drops are too small to float on air. he whole process is to quick to see.

Very cool pics Joe. If anyone gets a chance to watch the Time Warp episode it is quite interesting.

Imagine you had to take a few hundred pics just to get two good ones and you were paying for developing the film too.

I thought of that while doing the pics and I was like " yeah, film has nothing on digital"
