There's no chasing anything out here, we're a low-stress operation. Gus the Bull is pretty happy, using range cubes and a rattle stick, brought him home the other morning from the neighbors and put him in with the six steers we're finishing. He'll be really happy here in a week or so....when I wean the calves and cycle the cows once. Gus will have sooo much cow nookie he will wonder if he'd died and gone to bovine nirvana.

The pigs have all but vanished to the wet creeks and river bottoms in this drought...no pig sign here sign for weeks. No rain either.
