Monorail collision this morning at Disney World

http://www.wftv.com/news/19955324/detail.html

Two monorails collided this morning at the transfer and ticketing station at Epcot. The conductor of one of the trains died from the collision. Our thoughts go out to their family.

has two pictures of the collision. Myself and two friends were just in,what appears to be the red monorail, last week in the front cabin(with the conductor) last week.

I'm glad Donald Duck wasn't involved in that "quack-up".

that is truly sad....I always heard the monorail system was very safe. guess it can have mechanical malfunctions like anything. sympathy goes out to the victim's families.....

I know its terrible but I just can't get the "Monorail!" song from the Simpsons episode out of my head ever since I saw this on the news yesterday.

How late is that place open? I always figured it was closed by 10pm and this happened at 2am.
