Problems with ieSpellcheck

What's the story with this spellcheck program? Everytime I try to spell check a post and hit the icon in the gray area (ABC with a checkmark underneath), it asks me to download ieSpellcheck. Then when I punch OK, it advises that I have already downloaded it before and asks if I want to overwrite the file.

Today I did this again and responded NO to the overwrite question. Then I answered OK to a prompt about an update for the spellcheck program and it promptly lost the new post that I was trying to make.

So why am I having this problem with the spellcheck icon? Anyone know?

Try Fire Fox. It checks spelling on the fly.

Let's see. At the top right corner of the grayed-out frame surrounding this post is ABC with a check mark below it. This is the spell check. To the right of it is Increase Size and to the right of that is Switch Editor Mode.

Ouch, now I see it. I just right clicked inside this text box and found Check Spelling. Then I misspelled Check Spelling and used it.

It works. Thanks for leading me to the obvious. And I promise not to misspell anything agin.

I am running FF and composing this poct i miss spelled post. If i RT. click on spell check it has a check in front of it.It does not correct the problem. The only thing it shows a red line under the miss spelled word. With Yahoo mail it gives options.

I don't have it. I also do not see people's sig's- by choice. It may be a item each user can alter.
