Craigslist "Log In"
I just tried to list something on CL and came across this convoluted thing of "create an account" to list. After creating the account (e-mail & password), I tried to enter and it says "you need to give us your phone number for a phone verification." At that point, I had had enough. Is this for real, or just another scam?

I've had an account for awhile- It only once required me to put in my phone number when I accessed from a friends laptop, but on my wireless network.
