Resourceful - there was a huge savings in construction cost and provided the same ending as most water slides.

Wow!!
I was thinking there must be a lake behind the camera.

I would think the impact into that little pool would do some bodily damage.
Or perhaps rupture the pool.
(Not enough room for impact absorption and deceleration. But, I guess I’m wrong.)

My fundamental knowledge of physics indicates that the landing would yield some bodily damage...at least a few broken bones!

Regardless of achieving perfect trajectory, even if the landing point was a large body of water of sufficient depth, the impact would still be harmful!

Thats my thinking. Also I didn't see a hose there to wet down the rest of the course, two buckets of water just isn't enough....

Good clip but definitely fake. Even if everything happened the way it's portrayed, don't you think the splash would be a little bigger? Hell, a human body under those conditions would likely evacuate that pool.

Looks real to me. Notice the guy moving his arms and legs as he's flying. Dummies usually don't do that.

No kidding, that's pretty darn real looking.....I don't think its fake. It was quite a splash when he hit that pool....which is pretty big in itself.

I'm going to believe its real.

it is fake if you look closely as the water exits the pool it appears to not hit the platform, it splashes a foot or two above it. Also the pool would slosh around alot, I know I have a pool like that. If you jump in the ring of that pool would move all about and in this video the ring of the pool doesn't even move a bit.

It's official: it's fake. Saw it on Yahoo headline news. Supposedly it's some marketing video for Microsoft Germany. What's real is the initial slide and the landing in the pool, but the guy flying through the air is a computer animation. This is probably the best-done fake video ever.
