I only bought it because I wanted something safe for my daughter in law's first car. Also it was within the budget. Not knowing all the trouble it was going to cause. Danny

I had a 1980 GLT wagon. Had to do the blower fan replacement. Not as bad as on a 115 chassis (which I have to do REAL soon on my '76 300D), but close. As I recall, I took at least one seat out to make it easier! Car was a tank, but rusted in strange areas. Front struts were disintegrating before my eyes. Still, all black with dark tinted windows. Good looking ride even if it was slower than a 123 240D auto off the line. I will say parts were not too bad for it.
