Might be going to Panama this Winter...

What should I see when I go there. If I go, it will be in January.

What are your goals in the trip? What activities do you like to do now? How long are you staying? Start with those and ask yourself more questions. Fishing, Birding, nature tours can be some of the best in the world. The islands on the Caribbean side are stunning on both the east and west ends of the country. The Pacific side near Columbia is barely passable jungle. Near the border with Costa Rica in the mountains there are butterfly farms and coffee plantations. Panama City has some of the most beautiful women in the world strolling the streets, and I am not talking about ladies of the night. The mix of black, chinese, french, indian, white and latin results in stunning women. Panamanians love Americans. Buses - nice, new mercedes/volvo tour buses run the highways from Panama city to everywhere and all can be jumped on at the autobus central terminal.

The Panama canal...

Of course you want to see the Panama Canal - if you can... it was real interesting to me... and if you like to fish - fishing for Peakock Bass in Gatun lake (fresh water lake formed between Atlantic and Pacific Oceans) is said to be a real excellent fishery. I passed on it and alway have regrets now...

Had a friend who lived there for about 3 years - he said it's the best place on earth...
