Thumbs up Newest MB Acquisition...

Lease on 2007 near end of term and I was WAAAAY over on mileage logged...

Great vehicle, no problems. MB did this one right!

However, despite the fact that the 2009 looks virtually identical, I just HAD to get this one! And yeah, this one was equipped with the 22" dubs!

Sorry, I have a weakness for rims...let the flaming begin!

Dealership outfitted this one with the rims...I had to pull teeth to get the price down on this one...took weeks to get my wife to cool off too!

Rims had a bit too much negative offset...when I took delivery, I noticed that the rims scraped some material off the front calipers. No problem.

Grounded the calipers just enough to gain more clearance so I could...PAINT THEM!!!

Cockpit is identical to the '07...but MB did a LOT on the technical side...

Up/down shift paddles reside above the steering axis instead of behind the wheels...used to accidentally hit them on the '07...not so on the '09.

Navigation system is now on a hard drive...no more DVD.

CD changer is build into the unit. Used to sit flush in the glovebox. You feed the CDs in one at a time on the head unit slot. Also the head unit accomodates an SD card slot, as well as allows file downloads to the hard drive! Lots of music options!!!

The '07 had a mini stereo plug for an external mp3 player, but the '09 will do the same...and has an iPod interface jack!

This vehicle also came with a backup camera, and includes the Bluetooth interface. That feature alone sold my wife...she does office conference calls from the ML whenever we are running late for work...

Here is the ML with 1050 miles logged parked next to the 300E with over 200K on the clock! Wife's CLK is still a garage queen...purchased several years ago with 45K on it...now has 53K.

Wife traded it for the CLK...kid got older, needed a back seat, and low-slung body was too hard for aging bones to get in and out.

Dealership sold the SL the day after we traded it in...I miss that car though...

Wonderfull looking cars you have there. We had a convertable just like the white one you have in your picture. 1996 was ours. The V12 SL600 model. Wonderfull car. Got rid of it for the same reason you did.(Kids got older and eventually needed another car)
