Stargate just kicked things up to 11....
I just watched the premier episode of Stargate Universe and I'm in complete amazement. Its like the dark grittiness of the new Battlestar Galactica merged with the kickass awesomeness that is Stargate SG-1. Sci-Fi has once again managed to deliever me a new favorite show. Good timing too, I was starting to go through withdrawl with Battlestar being off the air

I caught about 40 minutes of it.....came in late and the dish was giving me choppy audio and video for the last half.....missed the end, but what I saw I liked. I liked Atlantis, too. I've set the dvr to record new episodes of Universe. I need to see if they are replaying the first episode so I can see the whole thing. Your take seems pretty spot on to the vibe I got from the show.

I really enjoyed it as well. it's interesting that the Col. was the same guy possessed by a goal'd in one of the first episodes of SG-1....

Daytime TV is unbelievably mind numbing. If the History channel isn't playing anything good your pretty much screwed. Good thing you have a large collection of DVD's at your disposal

Yeah I stopped watching them for a bit, I'll probably marathon this week.
 I spent the last 2 hours studying for my HR test tonight...if I can figure out where to park within 1 mile of the hall. Walking from the far lots on crutch's would be a death march.
