Yeah that was sure apples to apples- if one apple was a nuclear bomb and the other was a ant.

A private "jesus camp" ... singing whatever they want.

The other was a public school- where kids are forced to bow to the political views of the teacher.

Wow you are as .... as they come.

I love it when one side uses the stupid actions done in the past to justify stupid actions done today. Just shows how eff'n stupid humans can be.
Ever heard that thing about two wrongs don't make a right?

The emotional scarring that those children suffered . . . only federally mandated healthcare will be able to cover the expense of the therapy required to deprogram those victims.

So singing a song praising Jesus would have been OK? I find either version of the song quite disturbing and neither belongs in public schools. The same goes for the "one nation under god" pledge. It's all brainwashing.

Hard to tell thru the nonsense you assumed but I guess we both agree than both are pretty wacky.

Boy I'm sure glad you are so concerned about school kids welfare. You approve of public schools being able to make the students listen and bow to whatever the teacher's personal political views are?

So why is "the pledge" different (?); it was written by Francis Bellamy who was a Cristian Socialist (yes they exist). In 1954 the word GOD was added to the pledge to counter the "Communist ideas" of the USSR and the communists in N-Korea and China who the UN was fighting in Korea. So yes the pledge is ideological motivated and how disturbing those two video's are it happens every morning in all public schools around the country.

The pledge is the same except for one thing. We know the pledge is real. We don't know that that video isn't some conservative wackos gathering kids together to sing those songs to make it look like it happened in a public school.

True, you didn't say that, but I bet if there was a public school singing praises of Jesus (the Obama song was allegedly made out of a Jesus song) neither Fox News nor you would make a peep about it.

Way to miss the point. All there is so far is the video. No proof of where it took place or who made it. So before you start asking 'are you or have you ever been a member of the communist party' maybe you should wait for verification of the facts. I know it seems silly to wait for facts when you have a perfectly good running start of hate already, but you should try it.
