OK, I give up; no idea what you're referring to. Do you have a link to a news story?

No one living in Jersey should say anything about taxes in other states.

Well, other than the governator and most of Orange County . . . is the rest of California "leftist?" I suppose so, since everyone in NJ is a mobster . . .

It may not seem like much, but it's not the amount, it's the gall of our govt. taking more from us when we have nothing left. I don't recall voting on this- Oh thats right, I didn't have a chance to. It was a unilateral decision by the public servants that we will shut up and give more money for them to use in their quest to ruin our state. Locally every tax measure was shot down yesterday. The people are tired of being raped and it shows. Me- I'll just stop working before I'll produce at the end of a gun for my destroyers.

"The left who screwed up calif is steeling 10% of every workers pay"

Actually, that's not what it says. It says that they are increasing the tax by 10%, not that they are taking an additional 10% of the workers paycheck. Reading and math are both useful skills to develop.

I don't like taxes any more than anyone else, but I don't happen to like in CA so I don't really care. Fortunately, I don't live in NJ/NYC either.

Nope, it's just those folks who have spent too much time watching the sopranos. I've known a couple of NJ "mobsters"; they lived with their moms.

Everyone in Baltimore is a drug dealer--as in "The Wire".
Actually, " The Wire" was a pretty good, and accurate depiction of what has become one of the most dangerous cities in America. The politicans may be in denial, but that is the truth. The murder tally proves how bad it is, here.

Well in NJ the government is a bunch of mobsters no matter which party they are in...

I fled that state for upstate NY Not much better, but at least the local government was not corrupt.

Of course WV is not a kleptocracy

What I do not like is the way they can just vote in a tax increase whenever they want to. in NY they have managed to depopulate most of the state with their anti-business and anti-taxpayer BS. We went from 41 Congressman to what is it now, 23?
Buffalo is 1/2 empty as is Rochester, Albany is a slum and cities like Utica just don't exist any more...

It is just as bad in NJ, anybody ever been to Camden? Newark?
When the Navy tied the USS New Jersey up in Camden on loan as a museum, they stipulated that it be kept in good condition. I think it was to be kept in a condition where it could be refitted in six months and put to sea. Remember that the Navy had just spent millions upgrading her systems before mothballing the ship. Well they toured the ship recently and found that it had been stripped. 100s of miles of copper wire have been ripped out, equipment has been stolen, etc. The ship is now sitting on cinder blocks with the propellers stolen!!

Just a symptom of what is going on there...

Parts of East Orange look worse than Beirut or Baghdad ever did...
