I just received my first "Holiday Open House" invite for the year...past years, I've been too busy to even "entertain" the idea of a party, let alone going to one, so I've never really considered the options of what to bring, let alone wear...

What's a nice gift to bring to the GTG?

These are folks I've known professionally for over 20 years...I may interact with them about 4-5 times over the phone and 2 or 3 times during conferences per year...socially, we live about 180 miles from each other so it's not like we're neighbors or even see each other in the local stores and such.

Any thoughts?

(And a few "DOs/DON'Ts" won't hurt any, either!)
