Favorite MB Diesel Sedan

Considering the limitations of the poll options, I decided to dedicate one to the diesels.

Tighter ride, more defined style. Last of the bulletproof Diesel's.

voted for the 126, because my car is more loyal then an old dog... but I'd also vote for the 115, somthing about a car with a manual foot pump to spray the windshield... talk about Keep It Simple Stupid.

This is a different question, the previous poll asked about body style not favorite overall car. The W123 is my favorite car, but I prefer the body style of the 114/115 and 116.

Unfortunately, you forgot:

the W136, the infamous " Rasenmaschine"

the W120 aka the Lola Flores

the 121 ubiquitous taxi found in all the old German Dr Mabuse horror films

10 options max, so I couldn't get 'em all. The 136 is pretty awesome looking, though.

I guess I'm asking about all around, not just style.

I love the W126. It is a big substantial car! I also like the 123 for it's classic yet understated elegance

But for me the 603 lords it over the 61x engines

123 300D is my favorite. I like the 115 and 116 bodies as well. I'm slowly warming up to the 124, but I'm not at the point that I'd buy one. I kind of like the 126, and might buy one if I was in the market. 210's look good, but I think they are probably more complicated than I want to mess with. The 140, in addition to being equipped with the rod bender engine, and an overabundance of stuff to break expensively, is also way ugly.

300SDL, nuff said everything is inferior to an S class.

Personaly I love the turbo charged 606. Throw that in a W140 or W126 and you would have perfection.

If I could mix and match I would vote for the anvil tough 617 turbo in a 190 chassis with a tall gear and five speed. I could get 50 mpg with boring regularity.

Wow....the 201 is being shunned! No votes? 190d's are very efficient little cars....I'd not mind having one....though I do like the W124 better
