Angry Vandals strike again...

As some of you may know my SL-C has been sitting idle at my house for about 2 months now awaiting a radiator repair (Ive been busy). Well last night I stepped outside to talk on my phone while having a beer to discover that someone keyed the F--- out of my car. They adorned my trunk with a series of scratches, the right rear quarter panel has a single scratch mark going from back to right under the passenger side mirror. To top it off they were ahem, nice enough to finish off the drivers door and rear quarter pannel with "F--- U" and a amatuerish dipiction of a fallic symbol. Needless to say Im quite pissed.

This is the 2nd time in 5 years this car has been valdalized the 1st time back in late '03-early '04 my grille star was coerced home by someone.

Im fixxin to move the crap in my garrage around (to include a boat and trailer) to accomodate the car...

It looks as im going to try my hand at autobody once again...

I guess Ill be driving my Lexus to the december GTG.....

Bone and skull fragments could also leave a scratch.

We need stronger laws for this kind of stuff. Public canings Singapore style would be a good start.

CLK- Deal... we'll make it 40 40oz if need be...

I had OPD take a report, the LEO who came out restores porches in his free time, he actually owned a 280SE and a 280C among other cars years back.. hell he knew what a 6.9 was... and Glasurit paint. Definately a cool dude.

I guess it could be worse, but still Im pissed...

ASP to the skull...

The funny part is that I have so much firepower near my bed, I'd love to have caught the dick less bastard doing this to my car.... lights out...

Idle minds, devil's workshop. Bleepin' losers.

And motion switch video surveillance would probably be a pain. I could see it working for years and then breaking a week before the incident you wish you had on tape.

I kind of know how you feel..

At my local community college I parked my 300E in the front row for the first time and was all happy I got such a good parking spot only to come back to find it keyed and pretty hard down to the medal I was so pissed, I burned out of that stupid parking lot... ugh

I'm surprised they got away with that too seeing on how it was the middle of the day in the parking lot with people constantly going back in forth. Some people just really suck..

Sorry to hear they did a real number on yours though. Hope you get it back up to par soon!

one good bullet. Lex- sorry this has happened to you and yes I'd put it in the garage as soon as you can. I have both my SL's outside and both are under covers with locks on them, someone stole one of the covers so i bought the locks for them. BTW, the covers work great with protecting the finish.

ironically enough I sleep with numerous loaded weapons near my bed... quiet little f----rs I guess...

well all I can do now is look foward to stripping, priming and painting her.. I have nad most of the trim off before so its not gonna be too difficult..

It still annoys the hell out of me. Its a completely random incident, no provocation to anyone. I work strange hours and I am asleep most of the day usually so its not like I pissed anyone off. I am fairly antisocial most of the time (well except at the bar or other places, but thoes people dont know where I live and rarely piss any one off too bad)... only one of my subordinates knows where I live and hes a buddy of mine, plus a fellow cracker.

Its kids, it must be given what amatuerish stuff was done.. I cought myself outside earler when the bus dropped the little monsters off watching if someone would come up to my car and read the note I put on it or mess with it further... boy, what I was fixxin to do....

oh well, paint version 2.0 will be better.. I need some Astral silver 1 stage now...
