spicy wings...

last night we went to the verizon store in abq cause my phone froze up, we also went to Wing Basket and ate a bunch of spicey wings, then on the way home i couldn't get the heat to quit heating... only off or heat... are the things related????? oh yeah, we hit the sale at Walgreens after eating and they didn't have my favorite rum in stock. oh and i almost forgot, a panhandler outside wing basket asked me for change to "get the bus to the shelter" so i gave him my loose change... other than that the car ran flawlessly up there and back. i also put the radio on country oldies to bug the wife's son in the back seat while he texted (is that a word?) all the way up and back but he's a good kid... FFA president and all... anyway, i don't have a car problem and i just wanted to write something this morning while i drank coffee and watched the news...
have a great day everyone... and oh yeah, verizon is going to mail me a new phone ... how cool is that????

Walking isn't a lost art: one must, by some means, get to the garage.

Walgreens around here quit selling alcohol 10+ years ago, but just announced that they are going to have a small liquor and beer selection, due to customer demand. They used to sell an amazing selection in their bigger stores around here, and always competitively priced.

My kids are texting fiends...it's easier to text them, even in the house, than to yell for them.

Texting reminds me of the old Telex machines, only without paper. Funny how a seemingly obsolete concept comes back in a slightly different form and absorbs a new generation of users.

I don't understand texting, my kids probably sent 100 texts per day and rarely speak on the phone. My daughter is never more than 5 feet from her crackberry.

So i'm always in the search for good chicken wings where ever I go! I try not to say best wings period because every town has its own place where the wings are great.

In Ithaca there is this restaurant called Italian Carryout and they have these golden glaze wings which are just the most absolute AMAZING wings ever in that town.

In Buffalo NY it's the Anchor Bar or nothing.

In Erie I have yet to find good wings, but there is this restaurants that serves this things called riblets. They're part of this pork loin thing. They're SO good and I can't even pin point what they taste like. I'd say like spicy bacon, but not the type of bacon you get at the grocery store.

Have you figured out what is wrong with your heat? I checked through my step fathers repair book in my 300D and I realized that the monovalve has been replaced 4 times in the years he drove that car
