Yeah we have the shortest school year in all of New York. I would hazard to say the whole country, but there will always be some college to outdue my cheapo private school somewhere.

I heard that LEED cert is crazy. Don't you have to be in the business at least 4-5 years, plus you have to re-cert every so often?

Not really the kind of thing the casual hobbiest gets into.

In assessing whether to go back to school, there are an awful lot of variables to consider. When I was in my early 30s, I had accumulated enough to send myself through dental school - I had an idea that I would like to re-train myself as an orthodontist. Fortunately, my Father talked things through with me - giving up a highly lucrative sales carreer and income, where I had already accumulated a sizable nest egg by my late 20s - and trade that in for a big maybe. I chose to stick to sales - and am I ever glad I did.

Schooling, and the time and money it takes - especially specialization should be closely analyzed before embarking. An older Brother of mine eventually became a doctor, but was at such an advanced age and so broke when he became one, it probably wasn't worth the effort/cost - when breaking it down.
