Turned AARP-eligible last month...just got an invite offer a couple of days ago...

I finally joined them and just got the package a few days ago.

Usual hotel, travel and car rental discounts, pharmacy discounts, stuff like that.

For $15 a year, no big deal. I will try it and see. If I use a couple of the discounts and could not get them another way, maybe it is worth it.

I felt young when I turned 50..... until their stuff arrived in the mail.

I won't give them any money because I don't want to support their lobbying efforts.
