Oil pump Brick+Mortar retail sellers?

I have read the "correct" way to do an oil change is to pump the oil out of the dipstick tube...

Where can I find a pump that will do this job correctly for my M103? It sounds a lot cleaner and more efficient.

Any local retailers sell something like this?

Thanks.

Believe I've seen them at Northern Tool. Boating stores should have them as well.

Sears sells the Mity-Vac line of oil evacuators.

I don't know if you would call either the drain through the drain plug or the extraction method "correct". I find the extraction process much neater so I use it. I still pull the plug once a year and allow it to drip for a couple of hours. Old habits die hard.

I have the service manuals and the maintenance manuals for a later car, and they say "either/or. "- However, they also note that you may need to replace the drain plug copper washer after loosening the drain plug. I know a lot of people here will straighten them and re-use, especially if a drain plug washer is not available when you do the drain.

Personally, I think the drain plug method is more effective. But that's just opinion. Someone with a borescope could prove me wrong.
