Think I can mail this in an envelope?
So here's my problem:
I left Ithaca today at 1:30  Cool beans! Right? Well I forgot my spare contacts and won't be back up until the 22nd. So I feel dumb and I am about to call my room mate and ask him to mail me a spare double set in a typical envelope. Do you think the post office would mind if I put two plastic contact cases in a paper envelope and sent it off? Edit: Who cares! My room mate just stuffed the envelope into the mail box

I would use as a minimum padded envelop. The best should be post office small box.

I believe more than 1/2" thick and it will be returned or rejected. Wise thing to do would be a padded mailer and pay the whole $1.50 for first class postage. Or stick it in a priority envelope for like $4

It is fine, it just has a different postage rate. Very simple, just go to www.usps.com
