Anyone own a SOG knife?

http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0074277519664a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntt=SOG&Ntk=Products&sort=all&_D%3AhasJS=+&N=0&_D%3Asort=+&Nty=1&hasJS=true&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form1&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1

I got a $50 gift card from Cabelas so I'm thinking about picking up a small EDC blade. Normally I wouldn't spend $60 on a little knife, but with the card it brings it down to my price range.

Are SOG's anygood?

Those are all tactical and they use D2 steel. I want an EDC knife, something with around a 2in blade thats light.

My tactical knife is a Ka bar, which they do now make in D2 btw.

also very nice. would have to handle one to be sure it's good though. a lot of knives look good, but aren't functional (think klingon)

Cabela's

Cabela's!!!!

Just discovered that place a few months back, outside of Reno, Nevada!!

Incredible!!

Have you checked out the Gun Library?

The one I saw had armed guards in there.

So I asked them, "You got any Desert Eagles for sale (that I could see)?

They just laughed, and said, "Nah, we don't have any, we sold all of them already."

You could easily arm a couple of platoons and more, from what I saw in there.

Enough to storm the Presidential palace of some tin horn Dictator in South America or Africa, and topple their Government in a few hours !!! (Would you like to be the new President of Peru?) hahahaha

You should have no problem getting a good knife in there, don't you like Gerber mini magnums?

The blade is to thin and double edge. How am I going to push on the back of the blade if I need to use some force to cut something? They look like fantastic tactical knives though.

I own 2 sogs. A flash 2 and a pentagon elite... They seem really good... Got to keep the teflon bushings clean though, or the blades start to stick when opening...
