Agreed. On many levels 2009 was a most forgettable year.

I will remember 2009 for all things good.

i.e. healthy relationship, great family & good health

I will continue to grow as a human and find a much more rewarding year in 2010.

I give time and money (mostly time)to good cause's and encourage everyone to do the same this year.

there is nothing more rewarding than to know you've made a difference in someone life and ask nothing in return.

2009 was a year we should all forget. In fact the whole decade has been labeled the "decade from Hell"
I did have some good things to reflect upon. I met again old and dear friends, made new ones and I was employed.

I KNOW 2010 is the start of good things. I can feel it in my bones that the next decade will be much better.

2009 was an unfortunate year for many folks.

I escaped the employment problem but do not count on it being a permanent situation. I gained another grandson. I won some plastic trophies in the scca autocross with my Miata. I am looking forward to 2010.

Best wishes to all who are without the opportunity to use their skills to earn money.

I have high hopes that the economy will improve in 2010.

Technically speaking, 2010 is the LAST year of the current decade, not the FIRST year of a new one. There was no year zero, so decades, centuries, millenia etc. cannot END with 9....just sayin'

Happy New Year anyhow

I completely agree with the above statement, but I am in a big hurry to call this decade OVER. It was a #$(^%#$.

2009 was kind of a dud year in many respects, I hope 2010 proves to be better.

Yup, just like they did in'99, filling their basements with brown rice and bullets, waiting for the computers to crash and Jeezus to return.

I think we will have to wait for 2012 for that.
