Could a Dog Be Taught to Pee in The Toilet?

Just wondering.....

I've seen trainers teach them some amazing things.

I'm trying to figure how a male dog would do that- without making a mess.
Edit-well there it is. I wonder how the training went?

If you haven't been to a airport or bus station men's room lately . . . dogs aren't the only ones with mess issues . . .

Indeed, took my wife almost 17 years of intense training to get my aim straightened out.

He'd have to "take a wide stance".

Just sit and pee. You can't possibly miss.

When I worked in retail way back when we always had this problem of women hovering over the toilet in the rest room. They had a tendancy to miss and hit the floor.

The bathrooms were cleaned very well. The mens room was great, but I never understood women and their need to squat.

Hover: Miss and make a mess. Sit: Hit target and no mess. Sounds like a no-brainer to me.

It's the only time of day I get peace and quiet, at work or home, so I sit most of the time. Gives me a chance to check up on Facebook while I'm at it.

As a side benefit no one ever asks to borrow my phone.

No brainer to you but the women that do this are afraid of their butt cheeks touching a public toilet. They would rather miss and go on the floor. That is probably a no brainer to them since they are afraid of touching a toilet.

Now that you mention it, perhaps so. My wife will go out and if she sits on a public toilet, she will go home and take a shower.

Dogs and Cats on the toilet

YES they can be trained to do so. The real problem is training them to flush afterward.
