Well, the wife prevailed and I sold the classic. I was glad to own her for the short time I did, and she brought me joy in a sad time of life for me, plus I lost no money in the deal. I detailed her and folks were fighting over her. :ohttp://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w...70280SE003.jpg

They really are gorgeous cars inside and out, and like I've said before, make a W123 look like a Kia in comparison.

She looks better in the pic than in real life in regards to the rust, but this chassis sure is a winner. I'm sure gonna be on the lookout for a older MB again when the time comes.

I hope to get one in the not too distant future. Trouble is, I want an SE with the straight six and a stick. Oh yeah and a near rust free body. (I wanna be 20 years younger and good looking too!)
