And 23 mpg when spanking it? Damn....does that car have a 5 speed auto? My C280 wont give me 23 mpg when I spank it, but I've only got the 4 speed transmission.

Very nice find.

You posted an under the hood picture of your car so you already answered my question about your ginger car.

The carpets do in fact match the drapes

I didn't have any driving gloves so I could challenge him to a dual at dawn.

The roads have been wet so the rear breaks loose just about every time I touch the pedal. I may do some more videos in nicer weather after Barrett-Jackson.

Here is some more information. My '95 is the 4 speed from the 500E, while the article describes the later model with the 5-speed.

Something like 280 hp/280 torque. Not bad. About as much as the average mini van nowadays

They're nice enough cars but there's a reason the M3 is the king in this segment.

Here's the same info on the M3. No wonder on 200 of the C36 were imported. Half a second faster 0-60, stick shift, lighter, and a fraction of the price. I imagine I could smoke half the M3 drivers who can't work a stick fast enough.

I probably wouldn't touch an E36 M3. They are rarely as well taken care of as Mercedes, and my experience with my BMW X5 left me with a sour taste with the whole brand.

I think they look much better too, especially in the interior.
