Finally (maybe): The MB-Citroen Teknikal Zenter
I found a building this morning which may fit the bill for me, assuming I can get the owner to sell it to me. That's been the biggest obstacle in the past: I couldn't get an answer to my inquiries and neither could my broker! When I contacted another broker, I thought I had woken him up! It's like these people like being this way!
But I digress. This building is eight miles from home, in an industrial area but off a secondary road. Not abandoned but not well-traveled. It has a large front door and normal door, a fenced-in grassed area next to the building, which is cinder block. But get this: It's a TWO-STORY building! I could set up a place to live on the weekend and wrench the whole time. Imagine the storage potential for parts! The bldg is roughly 4,000 square feet. Some windows on the first floor will have to be blocked or replaced with glass block. Room to store and service 20 cars ![]() ![]() ![]() I could even hold technical training there! Live video internet feed! Or maybe turn the second floor into a club house area. Am going scouting today and will bring back recon photos soon. Just gotta find out about taxes, hazmat, other liens etc. an out-of-state bank owns it.
