Most trusted major television news operation in US!

Fox the most trusted name in news?

A new poll asking Americans whether they trust each of the major
television news operations in the country finds that the only one getting a positive review is Fox News.

CNN does next best followed by NBC News, then CBS News, and finally ABC News.

49% of Americans say they trust Fox News to 37% who disagree. Predictably there is a large party split on this with 74% of Republicans but only 30% of Democrats saying they trust the right leaning network.

CNN does next best because it is the second most trusted of Democrats, Republicans, and independents. 39% say they trust it compared to 41% who do not, with 59% of Democrats, 33% of independents and 23% of Republicans saying it carries credibility with them.

The major networks all have the majority trust of Democrats but less than 20% from Republicans. NBC, perhaps because of the ideological bent of MSNBC, does the best among Democrats at 62%. Overall 35% of voters trust it to 44% who do not.

CBS does the worst among Republicans, with 69% distrusting it. A plurality of independents express distrust of all five outlets we tested.

“A generation ago you would have expected Americans to place their trust in the most neutral and unbiased conveyors of news,” said Dean Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling.

“But the media landscape has really changed and now they’re turning more
toward the outlets that tell them what they want to hear.”

More bad news for Obamunists and liberals in general and it’s from a liberal leaning polling organization at that! But no reason to stop hating!

I remember one episode of O'Reilly had North emphatically advising Gary Condit to resign because North thought Condit was lying about his role in the disappearance of Sandra Levy.
North had previously lied under oath, while dressed in the uniform of the USMC, to Congress and the American people; and was convicted in a criminal court of doing so.

War Stories on Fox News.

Not ashamed to act as a narrative host providing insight on the Nuremberg Trials.

The notion that only conservatives fight for their country is uhhhh . . . crap. The ongoing full time corp of professional soldiers is primarily conservative. Not exactly sure what to make of that. But in war time, people of all persuasions serve.

On the topic, more proof that the right marches in lockstep.

Most people that VOLUNTEER could be considered Conservative, from a historical POV, and that would include both the Regular and NG solder, regardless of the Branch of Service.

Where you'd get the winers and crybabys would be from a "Selective Service" style of constription, like the draft.

A "watering down of the product" if you would be inclined to say.

I would perfer to serve in a "volunteer" military vs. a constripted one.

Regardless, any person willing to put aside their own personal safety and comfort to defend the lot of us all, regardless how WE treat, or respect, them, deserves no less than the best we have to offer them. And we should do no less than to be sure our Representatives, whether they be Democrats, Republicans or Independants, give each and every veteran what they are due and without tons of red tape and BS to wade through.

My $0.02 worth.

I'm still trying to get over the fact that people trust a TV news source.
