A lot of the sellers speak English. It's taught in school. The German sellers are wonderfully honest. I NEVER got burned even ONCE in 11 years.

I mailed US dollars almost every time, since I started with ebay Germany in April 1999. Great to deal with those vendors.

Nik, I have a astral silber w126 560sel like this,

http://cgi.ebay.de/Mercedes-Benz-W-126-S-Klasse-560-SEL-Silber-Neu-1-43-/400092654097?cmd=ViewItem&hash=item5d27616a11

plus the dark blue one theyu make too.

I also have the W123 coupe model, in gelb. (Gold) in my collection.

Here is one for sale.

http://cgi.ebay.de/Orig-Modellauto-Mercedes-Benz-280-CE-Coupe-W-123-1-43-/390132047258?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Spielzeugautos&hash=item5ad5ae9d9a

These Pauls Model Art/Minichamps models are not hard to find on Germany ebay.

Certain issues are, such as this '82 W123 200, German Fire chief's one.
Must be new, I have never seen one of these.

I'd like one of these.

http://cgi.ebay.de/Mercedes-Benz-200-W123-Feuerwehr-Leinfelden-Echterdinge-/370389144378?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Spielzeugautos&hash=item563ce9d33a

They even have the W123 MB "service" wagon. I would love to have this.

http://cgi.ebay.de/Minichamps-Mercedes-240TD-W123-1983-MB-Service-1-43-/290372096573?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Spielzeugautos&hash=item439b86923d

Their accuracy and detail is very very good. Best I have sen in 1/43" even though they are assembled in communist China.

Someone made a little 1/87" scaled w123 beater, like a Lebanese refugee's car with all their stuff on top = pretty inspired if you ask me.

I like it. It's a new
issue:

Yes they have some W126's in 1/18 by Pauls Model Art. I found one on ebay USA right in my own back yard, it's the 1986 500SEC euro made by Paul's Model art.

It was about $96 plus local shipping. The detail is excellent. Best of all it looks just like my 1/1" auto in the garage: It's 199 BLAUSCHWARTZ (Pearl Black) the exact same color as mine.

Revell made a rare DIY 1989 560sec Model, which I still have, in the garage, unassembled in the box. This model was never sold in the USA.It is rare and expensive on ebay.

They also have a W123 model kit for a 240D, unasssembled, in 1/18" you can buy. I would buy an well assembled model of both of those cars.

This one looks like a nice 1/18" w123 one for a reasonable price, put together already !!! It was easy to find, for 42 euros it's a good deal.

It even has the dark roof plastic deflector, on the roof, like so many new ones in Germany did.

OVP = in original packing box. Mint.

Those are the ones you want.

Here's a nice big blue 1987 1/18" 1987 560 SEL for just 49 euros.

Buy it and have the body shop mix up some bornite paint and shoot it, when it's apart, resassemble it and bingo - you have a decent model of your 1991 350SDL in bornite.

Beat that.

W107 series? Mid 70s, euro or US market...but then, you'll need about an extra pound of plastic in each of the US market kits to replicate the Fed-mandated bumpers requirement!
