Amazon.com FAIL?
Well I certainly had an interesting package arrive at my door today.
It is the first two discs of the show Black Lagoon but here is the kicker... I first ordered it back in August......of 2008. I originally ordered it from a sub seller on amazon called DVD legacy and it didn't arrive for over a month. Eventually I got ticked off and went through Amazon to get my order refunded and I re-ordered the same product from a different seller who had the DVD's on my doorstep within 3 days. So now nearly TWO YEARS later my package finally arrived even though I was already refunded for the purchase that never arrived....What is even more confusing is that the seller was originally listed in New York, this package was shipped from Florida and their return sticker states that they are located in Kentucky.   (Also DVD Legacy is no longer listed on Amazon and they last had a 53% positive rating. When I ordered from them they had a 95% approval rating) http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/8...a30d011946.jpg |
That IS bizarre.

I'd be inclined to consider it a success. Slow, but still a success, especially since it's free.

Sounds like a score to me!:D
Wanna sell them? |

It's either that or I give them to someone and so far no one is coming to mind. Does anyone come to your mind who might want them? |
Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me!:D

My wife buys so much stuff from Amazon that they may actually deliver stuff to our house directly (a distribution center is in town) one of these days. They rarely, rarely fail, and when they do, fixing the problem is easy and immediate. I know people who work there and it is apparently a well-run company. Something always falls through the cracks, no matter where you go.

I once had stuff sent to me from The Benz Bin that I had NEVER ordered. A call to them assured me they would come pick it up or I could mail it to them at my expense and be reimbursed. Nope. More stuff came. Finally had to threaten them before they came and got it. Told them that in 48 hrs, this package goes on my doorstep for pickup. 48 hrs after that, it goes back into my house and gets put on ebay. If it doesn't sell, it goes into the trash.

I have an interesting story too. Bought something on ebay from Germany, came in about a week, had to return it, it took almost a month and a half to get back there, but it did arrive and I got my money back. Two weeks later the package shows up back at my house. I'm just not going to say anything. I haven't heard from the seller.

They are yours then. We'll settle on a price when your done with the Stargate stuff  Quote:
If anyone sent me Mercedes stuff after I told them not to I would certainly keep it. If it doesn't sell, you could always try bringing it to an "I sold it on Ebay" store. |
