What's happened to Yahoo?
Sorry, the page you requested was not found.
I've had Yahoo as my home page forever. I like it better than Google all in all. News and search. Yahoo did this bit a couple months ago then came back. Maybe they're on their last legs. It's Bing for me now.

No problems here, maybe the link is funky on your homepage settings?

I had that last night on Yahoo.
Closing and restarting the browser fixed it. Don't know what caused it.

I'm still mostly Googling rather than Binging, regardless of what the Microsoft representatives tell us.

Something is weird and I can't figure it. Here is the address that gives me the page not found message - but it's not the sterile machine language looking thing when your connection has gotten lost - it has a smaller version of the Yahoo word graphic at the top:
http://www.yahoo.com Then, I inserted an s behind the http, yielding this: https://www.yahoo.com Sometimes a site will do this for some reason, I forget what it is. I hit return and lo and behold, Yahoo loads up like everything is just fine and changes the address to: http://www.yahoo.com/?s=https I went to Bing, did search for Yahoo, and clicked on the link, again, page cannot be found. Oh well, I'm going to get my needle nosed pliers out and monkey with the electrons til this thing works.

sounds like you could have possible had your browser hijacked... or your host file hijacked as well....
sounds like it may be time for that new computer after all...

Why would you use their search engine? Your browser should have a search bar built in, and you can set it to use google. Im not sure what your problem is, it might be a router/modem issue.

I think you're right on that one. What I don't get is that Yahoo is the only site this happens with.
